Focusing on cultural identity the idea revolves around the notion that: no matter where you travel or lay down new roots your native culture is carried with you.
Sharing our heritage and culture with others helps them to understand and embrace alternative ways of life and continues to build on the diverse society we see around us.
The piece will revolve around a transportable prop – a bow of a ship. Evoking a nomadic and whimsical feeling of travelling overseas away from one’s native land.
